One of the most intricate systems in the universe is the human body. Our admiration for this sophisticated system grows as we gain more insights into its secrets, realizing how full of wonders it is. I like to spend my scientific career unravelling such wonders through the study of cell and molecular biology with a focus on understanding the causes of infertility and birth defects.

I have been working in a research training capacity under the supervision of Dr. Mehdi Totonchi at the Royan Institute for Reproductive Biomedicine in Tehran, Iran since 2020. The focus of my research is on understanding the causes of infertility through the study of chromosome structure. I have published a paper on "A rare frameshift mutation in SYCP1 is associated with human male infertility," at the Journal of Molecular Human Reproduction.

I have B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Department of Cellular and Molecular Biology at Kerman Azad University in Kerman, Iran.
